Product FAQs

What makes your range of products different from any other adult product retailer?

I offer intimate pleasure products that are safe for the body, that I think have a nice feel, are well made and that are highly functional. I have personally chosen and handled every product and have rejected hundreds of others because they feel unpleasant, have ridges, edges or patterns on them that I think would be uncomfortable, or because they are tacky or poorly made.

I do not profess to have every great product available, and those on this site are offered in good faith that they are of good quality and reliable. I do not receive any payments or benefits from any company or individual to endorse, recommend or sell any product available on this website.

I became professionally interested in adult products I could use clinically to help clients a decade ago. My friend, Marie-Elise Allen, had created an amazing women's on-line sensuous boutique called Sassy Vibes at that time, and was passionate about offering quality safe products, when it wasn't fashionable in the adult toy industry to worry about such things.

Numerous clients I have worked with have found these products can be helpful in overcoming or assisting them to manage sexual problems, and many more have loved how they have increased their pleasure in the bedroom. Buying from a sex therapist normalises and endorses their use. I am thankful for their feedback.

I presented a paper at the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) Congress in Glasgow in 2010 titled "Therapeutic Considerations and Clinical Applications of Adult Novelty Items".

The use of the word therapeutic does not mean the adult products on this site are medical products, medically endorsed or can replace medical treatment of a sexual difficulty with a chat with an open and knowledgeable doctor or work with a sex therapist. Medical products on this website are clearly identified and have extensive product descriptions, with the price difference an obvious indicator of the superior materials and increased quality control.

Many adult products have the disclaimer "For Novelty Use" only on their packaging. See these links for an excellent article that explains why:

http://dangerouslilly.com/2013/07/for-novelty-use-only-part-2/

I have also provided detailed product descriptions with Therapists Tips, and information sheets on how to use vibrators, penis rings, and penis pumps, as well an extensive FAQ section. My aim is to offer the public the same range of adult and medical products I have used with my clients to improve their sexual pleasure and functioning.

My experience is that too much choice can often be overwhelming, especially when the majority of adult shops stock masses of low quality items. I am very proud of my boutique collection of luxury pleasure objects.

I cater for minorities and populations that are often ignored, such as seniors, people with disability, the LGBTIQ community and those recovering from illness or surgery, as well as people too shy to walk into an adult shop. I want it to be a credible, ethical, inclusive, warm place to shop. It's the same way I approach my sex therapy.

What is a vibrator?

A vibrator is an intimate pleasure object used to enhance the sensation of sexual play. They can be used for both self-pleasuring (masturbation) and partner sex. The first vibrators were invented in the 1800's to assist doctors to treat hysteria. It was the 5th household product ever to be electrified, after the toaster, sewing machine, the kettle and the fan. See Using a Vibrator section.

What is a dildo?

A dildo is a sexual device resembling a penis in shape, size, and overall appearance. In my mind, dildos don't buzz. Some are phallus-shaped clearly designed with vaginal penetration in mind, and some, like the Four by Wet for Her offer an alternative shape, based on fingers. Some people use devices designed for anal penetration such as a butt plug, as a vaginal dildo. Dildos are used by people of all genders and sexual orientations, for masturbation or for partnered sexual activity.

Although most women orgasm through clitoral stimulation, many enjoy the feeling of something inside them during masturbation. Many men, of all sexual orientations, feel the same way. There are small dildos, like the Siren, that are great for anal penetration. They can also be used by men or women with a strap-on harness or thigh harness, to enable hands-free thrusting. What should I look for when buying a dildo?

Buying a dildo involves factors such as length, thickness, hardness, safety and quality of the material it is made of and texture. On this site I only offer dildos made from 100% Medical Grade Silicone.

What is a 'butt plug'?

A butt plug is a type of dildo that is typically tapered, often with a bulge in the centre, so that the shaft gradually thickens and flares out, before narrowing again, but the shape can vary. It is designed to provide pleasurable stimulation to the rectum. A flared base is important for safety, to avoid the toy getting lost inside.

The anus has no natural lubrication, so it is important you apply lubricant for play. If you are looking for a fabulous book on all things anal, including toys, check out Tristan Taormino's Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women.

In recent years, prostate massagers have become increasingly popular with men, and regular use of the Aneros Helix Syn can prevent inflammation of the prostate and promote good prostate health. They are anatomically designed for a perfect fit, they intensify and amplify orgasms, and can trigger multiple prostate orgasms. Not only that, it was awarded the 2012 Male Pleasure Product of the Year at the XBiz Awards.

What is lubricant?

Lubricant is usually a condom friendly liquid or gel used to enhance or replace a woman's natural lubrication, or to lubricate any where on a person where friction occurs, especially on the penis, vagina and anus, to prevent rubbing, discomfort and damage to the skin or mucous membrane. I believe a good lubricant (or two) is an essential item for every bedroom drawer - don't let anyone tell you that you don't need lubricant! You should always liberally apply personal lubricant to your toys before use.

Lubricant is usually water-based or silicone, with each having their benefits.

Oil based lubricants (generally) should be avoided as they coat the inside of the vagina and rectum and can become a breeding ground for bacteria. Petroleum- based oils destroy latex upon contact, making them unsuitable for use with condoms for safer sex. I do not stock oil based or petroleum based lubricants.

The Intimate Organic range of water-based lubricants and sexual enhancers are made with certified organic extracts and are Paraben free, DEA free and pure vegan. Their flavoured lubricants are delicious.

Pjur silicone lubricants are the highest quality available, with PjurMED Premium offering the purist of ingredients. It is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. These products build a protective film on the skin without blocking the pores, so the skin or mucous membranes can breathe. Only a few drops are needed for silky smooth, extra long lasting lubrication. Please be aware that silicone lubricants can mark your sheets.

It is generally recommended that you use a water-based lubricant with silicone vibrators, unless specifically stated.

This can be unhelpful if you want to use your toy in the shower or bath. Some experts suggest high quality lubricants, like Pjur can be used safely with high quality silicone toys. Should you wish to do so, test first on an inconspicuous spot, e.g. near the handle. If you notice any change to the texture of your vibrator or the lube goes gummy, wipe it off immediately and use a water-based lubricant with your product (this would happen within the first few minutes of applying).

Remember it is much more fun to 'slip, slop and slide' than to experience drying out and soreness.

Is there any scientific research into Vibrator use?

Yes. Two Indiana University studies, published in Journal of Sexual Medicine were conducted among nationally representative samples of adult American men and women and showed that vibrator use during sexual interactions is common, with use being reported by approximately 53% of women and 45% of men ages 18 to 60. Not only is vibrator use common, but the two studies also showed that vibrator use is associated with more positive sexual function and being more proactive in caring for one's sexual health.

Herbenick, D., Reece, M., Sanders, S.A., Dodge, B., Ghassemi, A., & Fortenberry, J.D. (2009). Prevalence and characteristics of vibrator use by women in the United States: Results from a nationally representative study. Journal of Sexual Medicine, 6, 1857-1866.

Reece, M., Herbenick, D., Sanders, S.A., Dodge, B., Ghassemi, A., & Fortenberry, J.D. (2009). Prevalence and characteristics of vibrator use by men in the United States. Journal of Sexual Medicine, 6, 1867-1874.

There is also research supporting adult toy parties that was published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy in 2012. The study suggests that there are "women who are wary about the use of sexual enhancement products who may find discussing/purchasing the products among peers to be reassuring and normalizing. In forming collaborative relationships with party facilitators, it may provide sex therapists with an opportunity to reach a previously underserved population of women, promoting messages about sexual wellness and enhancing women's sexual experience".

This has certainly been my experience, with facilitating toy parties myself, as I give participants educational and therapeutic information, as well as offering them a chance to play with and purchase high quality products.

Are all the Vibrators on your site safe to use?

Yes. You will notice that the adult products on www.lyndacarlyle.com come in a range of materials; all are body safe and phthalate-free (More on safe materials below).

Over the last 10 years, increasingly savvy consumers of adult products have become more questioning about product composition and safety, yet the adult toy industry remains unregulated and good information can be difficult to find. I use products from reputable brands and offer safety and care information, including cleaning recommendations.

What are phthalates and why are they important?

Phthalates (pronounced THAL-ates), produced from oil, are a group of compounds that are added to plastics to make them flexible and soft.

There is evidence that some phthalates may be toxic to humans. As a product ages, the layers containing the phthalates are exposed and break down. In Australia and the European Union, certain phthalates have been banned, especially in the manufacture of children's toys (See the page on phthalates on the ACCC's Product Safety Australia website).

If you have ever had a burning sensation after using a toy, phthalates are the most likely culprit. Toys with phthalates, such as "jelly rubber" products, are usually cheaper (and nastier).

Adult toys are unregulated and manufacturers are under no obligation to disclose the amount of phthalates they use in their products.

The easiest way tell if a sex toy is made from a safe material, is through smell. Unsafe sex toys frequently have an obvious chemical or plastic smell (like new sneakers), with the odor caused by the release of chemicals into the air through off-gassing. Safe toy materials, in contrast, have no smell and do not leech chemicals into your body or the surrounding environment. (Coalition Against Toxic Toys (CATT) www.badvibes.org)

Some experts recommend a condom be used with porous products and with those containing phthalates. I recommend don't buy them in the first place. The products on this site are safe.

What is porosity and why is it important?

Adult product materials have varying degrees of porosity, which means they are absorbent, like a sponge, and cannot be easily cleaned nor completely disinfected. Porous materials can harbor microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, which may cause infection despite even the most diligent cleaning efforts. Ideally, sex toys should be non-porous, especially with anal toys or toys that are shared.

Non-porous materials for sale on this website include high quality silicone, high-grade ABS plastics, and borosilicate glass. Be aware that even silicone has tiny pores (too small for nasty's to penetrate) but some smells can be absorbed.

The few products made from Elastomer, TPE and Turboskin that I sell are appealing because of their soft, plushy feel, but should be treated with greater care. I have indicated in the product descriptions which products may be porous and how to care for yourself if using them.

What are sex toys made of?

PVC / Jelly / Latex Low quality, cheap sex toys are often made from PVC, often referred to as jelly, rubber or latex. These materials are very porous, making them a hub for bacteria, and they usually contain phthalates. These toys can melt, become greasy and deteriorate over time, and they have a strong unpleasant smell. If using a PVC toy or latex toy, always cover it with a condom, and they are not safe for sharing. You must avoid PVC or latex toys if you have a latex allergy. Non-Latex condoms are also available here.

There are no PVC / Jelly, or Latex toys on this site, other than condoms.

Skin-like products (CyberSkin, Ultraskin, Eroskin, Softskin, Futurotic) are made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR) or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) (see below). Some skin-like products, e.g. Cyberskin are phthalate, latex and PVC free. These products are quite porous, so can hide bacteria, making them unsuitable to share. Proper cleaning and drying is important. They can sometimes sweat, so to keep your toy fresh, store it in an airtight container and coat with cornflour (do not use talcum powder). Use only water-based lubricants.

Turboskin is made of phthalate free TPE (See below). Turboskin is slightly porous, making it unsuitable to share, and it is recommended you clean your Turboskin product immediately before and after use with soap and warm water, dry it carefully and store in a cool, dry place, separately from other toys. You may use an anti-bacterial toy cleaner if desired. To restore softness to Turboskin, sprinkle with the included powder when dry, or coat with cornflour (do not use talcum powder) and store in an airtight container. Both water and silicone based lubricants can be used

Example of Turboskin product - Doctor Loves Girth Enhancers.

Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) or Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is a non-toxic, phthalate-free, hypoallergenic polymer blend. Thermoplastics are slightly porous, making them unsuitable to share without a condom, as they may hide bacteria after cleaning. It is recommended you clean them immediately before and after use with soap and warm water, dry them carefully and store in a cool, dry place. Store them separately from other toys. Discard and replace if a TPR / TPE toy splits or perishes, or becomes greasy or discoloured.

Water-based lubricants are usually recommended.

Examples of TPE / TPR products: Stretchy Cock Ring, Screw Me Cock Ring

Elastomer is phthalate-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic and free of chemical solvents. Elastomer toys are high quality, soft and plushy. They are slightly porous, so it is recommended you clean them immediately before and after use with soap and warm water, dry them carefully and store in a cool, dry place. Store them separately from other toys. Discard and replace if your elastomer toy splits or perishes, or becomes greasy or discoloured. You can use water-based or silicone lubricants with elastomer toys.

Examples of Elastomer products: Sidekick Sleeves, Satin, Neo Ring

ABS, polycarbonate and non-plasticised PVC (non-plasticised PVC) toys are phthalate-free, hypoallergenic and non-porous. They are easy to clean, are often cheaper and offer strong vibrations. Because of their hardness, they are generally unsuitable for penetration.

Examples of ABS products: Water Dancer, "I Rub my Duckie" range, We-Vibe Tango

Steel / Chrome I don't sell them here, but steel-based toys are made from chrome alloys and stainless steel and are non-porous, durable and warm to the body. Quality steel toys, like glass toys, can be beautiful works of art.

Borosilicate glass toys are made from clear medical grade borosilicate, as used in Pyrex. It is lead-free, non-porous and hypoallergenic with excellent structural integrity, and can withstand heat and cold, as well as extreme pressure (around 1,000 kg). Glass warms to the body. Clean with soap and warm water, an antibacterial toy cleaner if desired, or boil them. Glass can be used with any type of lubricant.

Examples of Glass products: Icicles #42 Hand Blown Glass Ben Wa Balls, Fashionistas Pony Tail Butt Plug, Fashionistas Whip

Silicone (medical grade or 100%) is considered to be the best and safest material for adult toys. It is virtuously non-porous (bacteria can't penetrate but some smells may), it is hypoallergenic, phthalate free and it warms to the body. Due to its non-porosity, silicone toys can be shared after cleaning. Silicone toys have no smell, tend to be firmer than other materials (depending on the finish) and are more expensive, but a quality silicone product will last for years. Clean with soap and warm water, an antibacterial toy cleaner if desired or boil them, as they can withstand high temperature. Dildos are bleachable and dishwasher safe, but with vibrators, be sure the entire toy including the controls are waterproof before cleaning them this way.

Note: Be aware that not all silicone products are created equal. The best quality products are 100% or medical grade or platinum silicone, while other products have a silicone coating over ABS plastic. Beware of products that are a silicone blend, as they are often mixed with soft PVC.

It is generally recommended that you use a water-based lubricant with silicone vibrators, unless specifically stated. This can be unhelpful if you want to use your toy in the shower or bath.

This site only recommends high quality Pjur silicone lubricants, which some experts suggest can be used with high quality silicone toys. Should you wish to do so, test first on an inconspicuous spot, e.g. near the handle. If the lube goes gummy in the first few minutes, wipe it off and clean it immediately.

Example of medical grade Silicone products: D.vice Dildos, The Boss Stub Dildo, Stronic Eins, Mystic Wand

Some great links that discuss product materials are:

All of the Insertable vibrators, dildos and butt plugs that are offered on this site are made from high quality silicone or elastomer.

Generally, you get what you pay for. High quality toys have a higher price tag, with medical products even higher again, but this reflects that better materials have been used and that the level of quality control and accountability is greater. Think of prioritizing safety as an investment in your health, and good products also last much longer if you look after them.

How do I care for my vibrator?

Follow manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning and care of your toy.

To clean your vibrator, use hot water and soap before initial use, and before and after you use them. Make sure you do not get water in the battery compartment or in the opening for rechargeables. You can also use an anti-bacterial toy cleaner if you desire, which can be found in the Essentials and Accessories section. Pat your toy dry, then allow to air dry.

For more specific information on cleaning sex toys, check out http://dangerouslilly.com

For comfort and ease when using your toy, please ensure that you use lubricant, which can be found in Luscious Lubes and Lotions.

Silicone and water based lubricants are fine used with elastomers - remember oil is oil and is primarily for massage - so do not smother your vibrator in oil or use oil based products as it will degrade the elastomer.

Sex Toy Cleansers

What types of vibrators are there?

The short answer is lots! Choosing a sex toy is a very personal thing, and what might appeal to one person will be a complete turn-off to another.

To make it easier, I have divided my products into categories:

External Vibrators / Massagers - that are great for using on the clitoris, penis or other parts of the body.

Insertable Vibrators / Dildos - for use vaginally, and in some cases, anally

Multipurpose Vibrators - that are great for both clitoral or penis stimulation and insertion. Some of these can stimulate two places at once and are sometimes called Dual Vibes. There is even an oral vibrator that can be great fun for both sexes.

Anal Play - some vibrators can be used anally - anal play, for both women and men can be extremely pleasurable.

Toys for Boys - The Neo Ring has a vibrator attached to it, which can pleasure both partners. There is a delicious selection of male pleasure products for all occasions.

Women's Pelvic Floor - The Miu Miu offers a vibrating option with remote control; perfect for both pelvic floor work and play. Other pelvic floor massagers work well but are non-vibrating.

For the Fun Products for Play and Therapeutic Products that may Help sections, I have carefully chosen from the general products list those that might apply to different people and purposes.

I felt it might be helpful for those wanting help with sexual difficulties to categorise them according to the problem they are having difficulty with so they can easily see all their options.

Populations I am particularly passionate about include seniors, people with disability, LGBTIQ identifying people and those recovering from illness or surgery, particularly after prostate cancer treatment.

Some people want discretion when it comes to having a toy in the house, for others, a rechargeable option is very important. Everyone wants an increase in pleasure, and I hope to provide that with everything I offer.

The manufacturers featured here are trail blazers, with recipients of the 2014 Product of the Year award at the recent Xbiz Awards featured for Technology (Stronic Eins) and Design (Infinit) and in 2013 for Sexual Wellness (Aneros Prostate Massager), in 2012 for Innovative Pleasure Product of the Year — Technology (We-Vibe 3); all part of my luxury collection.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is unrealistic to think that the purchase of a product will solve all your problems but if it does, that is fantastic. I recommend an appointment with myself, in person or on Skype, or with another suitably qualified and experienced sex therapist if there are issues you are have difficulty overcoming.

I have not had a vibrator before what do you suggest?

There is plenty of choice and it depends on a number of questions:

For Women:

What areas feel pleasurable when you stimulate them? Your vulva generally (Oiran), clitoris (Mini Magic), or does it feel good when something is inserted in your vagina (Mini Lover). Some people also find G-Spot pressure (Touch) or anal stimulation pleasurable (Pendant). Do you want something that also doubles as a body massager? The Mystic Wand G-Spot Attachment fits both the Mystic Wand and the Rechargeable Bodywand Massager, giving you lots of different options for pleasure.

If you are unsure, take some time to explore your body and genitals, either in private or with your partner (bearing in mind that this is for you!). Before you start, take a few deep breaths and then concentrate on your breathing for a minute or so, which will help clear your mind and bring your focus into your body. Start slowly and gently, and let your body sensations be your guide.

If involving your partner (which is great, as it means you talk more openly about pleasure and sex) don't let yourself be swayed by what they think might be great for you if it doesn't appeal. Don't be scared to slow them down.

For Men:

Vibrators have exactly the same effect on a man's blood vessels as a woman's - they make them dilate, bringing increased blood flow and usually increased physical arousal.

A vibrator may improve your control over ejaculation if used intermittently over time on the more sensitive parts of your penis, or can help you to reach ejaculation more quickly when used to enhance your pleasure and focus. Try the Pyxis Finger Massager or Power Bullet.

Stimulation of the nipples, penis, testicles and scrotum, perineum, anus and rectum, as well as the rest of the body, can all bring about pleasurable sensations.

The male G-Spot or prostate is located on the front wall of the rectum and can also be stimulated directly or via pressure to the perineum. This is good for your prostate health. If this sounds appealing, the Aneros Helix Prostate Massager, Touch or Pandora are products you should consider.

What kind of vibration you want?

Some people are very sensitive to vibration and a non-vibrating dildo might be a better option. Many vibrators offer a range of speeds and rhythms. Take your time with a new product to explore each delicious rhythm, one by one. Some vibrators (Siri) allow you to turn up or turn down the strength of the vibration in each pattern. Some people like a stronger, deeper vibration; the Water Dancer or We-Vibe Tango might be a good choice.

What shape is attractive to you?

Vibrators often bring an instant reaction from people, especially if they are unappealing. Some people want an exact replica of a penis, others want the shape without the detail and still others want something that looks completely different.

What kind of feel do you like?

There is huge variety in the feel of adult toys. Silicone can feel soft and plushy while still being firm (D.Vice Dildos or Mini Magic), can have a firmer feel (Stronic Eins or Bodywand Massager), be silky to the touch (Mode or Mystic Wand G-Spot Attachment) or have a silky touch over a hard base (Touch or Gigi 2). Elastomer tends to be much softer and stretchier (Satin or Butterfly). While I have tried to be as descriptive as possible in my product descriptions, the touch and feel is sometimes difficult to describe.

If touch is ultra important to you and you live in Melbourne, I recommend you make a time to check out each toy in person.

Is discretion important?

A few of my vibrators are very stealthy - children or adults wouldn't know if they came across them. Check out the "I Rub my Duckie" range or the Celebrator Electric Toothbrush Attachment. Check out the Discreet Fun category.

What size do you prefer?

Being a sex therapist, historically I have chosen vibrators that are on the smaller end of the scale, as my clients are often dealing with sexual pain issues, and / or have not used a vibrator before. I have had many a client who has walked into an adult store, become overwhelmed by the choice in front of them and their partner has said: "Choose the biggest one!" which hasn't been that helpful, and in fact, often scares them.

Size does matter, with many people looking for an insertable vibrator or dildo happy with a moderately sized or smaller option (try the Envy One or Bcute Classic), but if you are a "size queen" I have also tried to please you (Satin or D.vice Boss Realistic Dildo). Research shows that for many women, girth is more important than length.

All product descriptions give total length, insertable length and circumference, so you can choose a size you are comfortable with. If you are unsure, I suggest you start with something on the smaller end of the scale and purchase a bigger toy once you have worked out what you like. I am a big fan of having a range of options.

Do you care how the product is powered?

There are many rechargeable options available in my products, while other toys take AA, AAA, AAAA or LR44 watch batteries. Reasonably priced AA and AAA batteries can also be purchased here.

It is recommended you recharge your vibrator at least every 6 weeks, as they don't hold their charge as well if they go completely flat. Check out the Rechargeable Fun category.

How easy is it to adjust the controller?

Most vibrators on this site are easily adjustable during use, and some come with a remote control. If you have limited dexterity in your hands, I have included some good options in the Fun with Disability section and have also noted these in the product descriptions.

How much do you want to spend?

Although quality pleasure objects are more expensive than their cheap and nasty counterparts, I try to offer a range of alternatives for people to try. Some people, if they have never used one before, might prefer to go for a less expensive option to determine whether they actually like the feel of a vibrator. Try a Power Bullet or Bcute Classic.

Do persevere and spend a number of sessions pleasuring yourself or using them with a partner before you decide if you actually like them or not.

After years of showing my clients vibrators in our sessions, where they can touch and feel each one, my most popular products, by category have included:

External Vibes / Massagers - Pyxis Finger Massager, Mini Magic, Mystic Wand, Bodywand

Insertable Vibes / Dildos - Mini Lover, Stronic Eins, Gigi 2

Multipurpose Vibes - Bcute Classic

Toys for Boys - Speed Shift Penis Ring, Sidekick 1 Sleeve, Pyxis Finger Massager, Handsome Up Pump

Anal Play - Pendant, Jewel, Pandora

Women's Pelvic Floor - Teneo Smartballs Duo, Miu Miu, Ultimate Kegel Kit

Luscious Lubes and Lotions - Pjur Woman, Pjur, Hydra, Vanilla Caramel

Detailed product descriptions are given to assist you with your choice, but if you live in Melbourne and would like an appointment to touch and feel the vibes and explore your options, please contact me.

How do I learn to use one?

Privacy is essential when learning about your own body, so even if you've never self-pleasured before, make the space for yourself and have a play on your own. Concentrate on your breathing first, which will help clear your mind and bring your focus into your body. Let your body sensations be your guide.

Most vibrators are adjustable, and I suggest you begin with the lowest speed and work up. Women's arousal is usually much slower than men's, so take your time; don't give up too early. If you find the vibration too strong and need to reduce the intensity, place a towel between the head of the vibrator and your body. Ongoing pressure with a vibrator will generally lead to an orgasm in 10 - 60 minutes. Remember to concentrate on your breathing throughout and think sexy thoughts or just focus on the delicious sensations.

Read the Using a Vibrator section.

The Adventurous Couple's Guide to Sex Toys is available for purchase on this site. There is a chapter on using adult toys in Squirms, Screams and Squirts, while sex guru, Tristan Taormino is a wealth of information with THREE chapters on using toys in The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women and pages and pages of tips shared in G-Spot Orgasms.

How do I choose a penis pump?

I have checked out ALOT of pumps, and they all do basically the same thing. I have chosen the Handsome Up as my basic model for a couple of reasons; I know alot of urology nurses use them with their patients, they are pretty good quality and reasonably priced, and because the two parts that will break on the unit (the sleeve and the pump) can both be replaced (yes I do sell them). No other pump offers this.

Androvac is an excellent medical grade device, that takes things to the next level, with an electric motor and state of the art manufacture, but it is a bigger investment. This investment is thoroughly recommended if you have a physical reason for erection problems and are planning to use this treatment long term, and there are tens of thousands of men who use this option. Compared to the ongoing cost of oral medications for erections, this is a one off purchase that will last for years.

If you are unsure whether a penis pump will be a good option for you, it makes sense to start with the cheaper option and upgrade if you find it works for you.
