About Maxi Xie

Maxi is an LGBTQIA+ ally, kink & fetish friendly and poly friendly Melbourne sex therapistMaxi Xie is a certified Level 2 Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and a certified sex counsellor/therapist with the World Association of Chinese Sexologists (WACS). He is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Maxi is a current member, Secretary and Student Representative (VIC/TAS branch) of the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS). He has a Master of Counselling from Monash University and has experience working with diverse relationship issues, involving people who are affected by family violence, alcohol & other drugs, and sexual assault in different age and culturally diverse groups. Maxi adopts a person-centered approach in his practice. He knows each client is unique and tailors his session to best suit people's needs. He understands the power of being seen and heard, and how therapeutic that can be. He is always inclusive and non-judgmental; he wants clients to feel the session is a safe place to share, explore and feel empowered to be their true selves, so they can ignite a spark in the darkness.

Maxi is an LGBTQIA+ ally, kink & fetish friendly and poly friendly practitioner. He believes better sex can be achieved with communication and education to create playful, pleasure-oriented experiences that can be free of guilt and pressure. Maxi aims to help clients who struggle with relationship issues (including attachment trauma, attachment injury, and individual/couple sex-related issues) to progress and have the power to embrace safety and pleasure in their relationship and sex life.

If you are not satisfied with my service, please contact me. I take complaints seriously and aim to resolve them quickly and fairly.
